FAQ
Do I need to set up SMTP?
Yes. ReplyFast sends auto-replies and follow-ups through your own business email. In the dashboard you add SMTP details from your provider (host, port, username, and app password or SMTP password). Common options include Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, or your hosting company’s mail server. We don’t host outbound mail for your brand — that keeps “From” on your domain and deliverability in your control.
If SMTP isn’t filled in correctly, leads are still logged but no emails are sent until you fix settings. Test with a real form submission after saving; check spam folders and your provider’s “less secure app” / app-password rules.
Will this guarantee more revenue or bookings?
No. ReplyFast only automates polite replies and timed follow-ups for people who already enquired on your site. Whether they book depends on your pricing, availability, reputation, and how you handle the conversation after the email. We do not promise a number of jobs, ROI, or revenue uplift.
Is this bulk marketing?
No. Messages go to individuals who submitted your contact or quote form. Every email includes a way to opt out; we stop follow-ups when they do.
What about billing?
Pricing is £29/month after any trial. Card billing via Stripe is wired when enabled on our side; until then you can set up webhooks and SMTP on a trial account without a payment guarantee from us.
